The Portland Development Commission has tapped Skylab Architecture to assist in design improvements along all three Portland Main Street Districts. This includes the Alberta, Hillsdale and St. Johns neighborhoods.
The aim of the Main Street Program is to incentivize incremental improvements by supporting small businesses and generally encourage economic development. Using the Main Street Four-Point Approach®, organize, promote, design, and economic restructuring, the program mobilizes communities at the grass roots to promote positive change.
Skylab Architecture is proud to be joining this effort. Look back here for more reporting from the streets!
